The Insurance Bureau of Canada advises policyholders who have been displaced to keep receipts and invoices for additional living expenses and to discuss their coverage, limits and eligibility with their insurance representative or claims adjuster.

Okanagan Adventure Co. can provide a professional, itemized rental invoice/receipt showing:

Here’s how it works:

1. Contact your insurance representative — Ask whether temporary accommodation is covered under your Additional Living Expenses (ALE) coverage and confirm your available limits.
2. Contact Okanagan Adventure Co. — Tell us your required dates, number of guests and location.
3. We arrange your rental — We’ll confirm availability, pricing and delivery arrangements.
4. Receive your documentation — We’ll provide a professional, itemized rental invoice/receipt for your records and insurance claim.
5. Submit it to your adjuster — Your insurance company will determine whether the expense is eligible under your specific policy.
